How to Claim and Manage Sold Listings on Trade Me OneHub

In New Zealand real estate, your historical track score is your primary calling card. When prospective vendors use Trade Me Property's "Find an Agent" directory, they filter candidates by geographic performance and volume of Latest Property Sales.

Through Trade Me Property OneHub, tracking your results is largely automated. However, understanding how properties move from "Active" to "Sold," and knowing how to secure your vendor's consent for pricing displays, is crucial to building your digital footprint.

Here is the ultimate guide to managing your sold property data inside OneHub.

The Lifecycle of a Sold Listing

Trade Me uses an automated data pipeline to move your listings through these phases:

  • Active Listing: The property is live on the open market.

  • Pending Sold: The property listing has been withdrawn from Trade Me via your office CRM feed, marked as "Sold".

  • Published Sold: The property appears permanently on your public Trade Me agent profile under "Latest Property Sales."

Sold Listing FAQs

Where will my sold properties appear?

Under the ‘Sold’ listings tab on your Agent Profile.

How do I load sold properties?

There are three ways you can load sold properties onto your OneHub account.

  1. You can choose them from the listings under the Offline tab. These are recently sold properties that you were the listing agent for on Trade Me. To load a property to your profile, check the details and choose ‘Displayed’ under Agent Profile settings.

  2. You can manually add them by clicking the green ‘Add a sold property’ button.

  3. Your office's CRM can withdraw the listing as Sold on your behalf, which will automatically display the listing as Sold on your profile.

How do I select my highlighted properties?

The first six properties you enter will be automatically highlighted. If you have more than six, you can choose which appear as ‘Highlighted’ by selecting ‘Edit’.

Is there a limit to the number of sold properties I can add?

No, you can add as many sold properties as you require.

What do I do if I no longer have an image of a house?

We require a photo for a sold property. You will need to manually upload the sold property with an image you have permission to use.

What date should I use as the sale date?

You can choose between the unconditional or settlement date.

Why do I need to add the office the listing was sold under?

It’s important that a sale recorded by an agent acting as a ‘Licensed Salesperson’ relates to the actual licensee under whose licence the property sale was transacted.

Why can’t I delete any sold properties?

You can at any time edit a sold property, and select ‘Not displayed on your Agent Profile’ so it won’t show on your Agent Profile.

Can my administrator add in sold properties?

Yes. Make sure your OneHub account is connected to them so they can access your account and add sold properties on your behalf.

Why doesn’t my recently sold property appear in the Offline tab?

For a sold property to appear in your Offline tab, it must meet the following criteria:

  • When withdrawn from Trade Me via your listing process, the reason for withdrawal must be ‘sold’.

  • You must appear as a listing agent for that property, and your details must match your OneHub account (REAA number is best).

  • If the listing doesn’t appear, you can still add it manually by clicking the green ‘Add a sold property’ button.

What if I want to change the image that’s been pulled through to the offline sold properties?

You have the ability to upload an image to replace the default image.

How soon after withdrawing my listing from Trade Me will it appear within OneHub?

This should be instant; get in touch with us if it hasn’t appeared after 30 minutes. Or you can add it manually.
