Suburb Ownership: Everything you need to know!

What is Suburb Ownership?
In digital real estate advertising, Suburb Ownership is a premium location-based marketing product. It allows a real estate agency or individual agent to "lock down" the most prominent advertising space within specific geographic search results.
When an agent buys Suburb Ownership for a specific area (e.g., Wellington Central ), they are purchasing the guaranteed top-in-search display ad placement. Every time a potential buyer or seller searches for properties in that specific suburb, the owning agent's branding, face, and contact information appear right at the top of the page across desktop, mobile web, and apps.
The Core Benefits (Why Agents Use It)
Hyper-Targeted Visibility: It puts the agent in front of passive and active local homeowners. Trade Me data reveals that roughly 70% of people browsing property searches are local homeowners looking to upsize or downsize in their immediate area.
Market Authority: By "owning" the visual real estate of a suburb online, the agent establishes themselves as the dominant local expert.
Lead Pipeline: Rather than just pushing clicks to a website, it drives high-intent, "off-site conversions"—meaning local sellers see the agent's phone number on the banner and call them directly to request property appraisals.
