Please read this article to understand how your listing school zones are displayed and how to troubleshoot when they are not appearing as expected.

Our school zone data comes directly from the government's Education Counts website — Trade Me doesn't hold or edit this data ourselves.

Check the official record

Compare your listing against the official record here: Find a school — Education Counts

If it matches

Our database is correctly reflecting the official source — no action needed on our side.

If it doesn't match

To change what's displayed, Education Counts needs to update their records first. We can't manually override school zone data on our side, but once their records update, ours will reflect the change too.

Check the listing location

If the map on your listing is not showing in the correct location, school zones will not be filtering through as they should!

Check your listing map to confirm it is correctly pinpointing your property.

If schools are missing entirely

Contact our Customer Experience team, and we'll investigate further to find out why those schools aren't appearing correctly.
