Images make a listing pop! In this article you will find everything you need to know to make sure they are appearing properly on the site.
Requirements
Here are all the image requirements for your Trade Me Property listing!
Requirement | Limit |
Number of photos | Maximum 50 |
File size | Up to 5MB per file |
Dimensions | At least 500px on any one side |
Format | PNG, JPG, BMP, or GIF |
Broken photos
Photos can appear broken if they've been sitting in your CRM too long. Remove them completely and re-upload.
Blurry photos
Blurry uploads are usually caused by your CRM compressing the file to reduce it past Trade Me's 5MB limit.
If your original file is larger than 5MB, some CRMs will auto-compress it — sometimes reducing it well below 5MB, which leaves the image blurry.
Fix: confirm your original file is already under 5MB before uploading it to your CRM, rather than relying on the CRM to compress it for you.
