Keeping your agency’s Trade Me Property admin account up to date is crucial for ensuring seamless listing management, accurate billing, and uninterrupted communication.
Because admin accounts control high-level office permissions, certain core updates must be processed securely by our Customer Service team.
If you need to make changes to your primary administrative account, this quick guide outlines exactly what details we manage and how to submit your update request.
When to Contact Customer Service
While individual agents can manage elements of their personal profiles via OneHub, core agency and office admin credentials require verification.
To update your administrative account information, you must reach out directly to the Trade Me Property support team at propertyagents@trademe.co.nz.
Account Details That Require Support Team Updates
When emailing the support team, please specify which of the following details need to be modified:
Primary Account Name: Updating the trading name associated with the office.
Decision Maker Email Address: Changing the primary email address where account notifications, security alerts, and main inquiries are sent.
Billing & Invoicing Information: Modifying the accounts email, credit, and billing address, or company entity details for monthly invoicing.
Data Feed Integrations: Requesting updates or troubleshooting issues related to third-party CRM software that automatically pushes your property listings to Trade Me.
Contact Details: Such as where your office is located or the best phone number to reach you on.
Your office REA: The REA number your office trades under.
If you have sold your business, you need to complete a change of ownership.
The change of ownership process must be completed anytime an office has a change to legal entity or NZBN.
How to Submit Your Request
To ensure your request is processed quickly, follow these quick steps:
Draft your email: Use an official agency email. Send your email from an address associated with your agency to help our team verify your identity.
Include your account identifiers: Crucial for fast processing. Clearly state your Agency Name, Office Location, and your current Trade Me Member ID or account email.
Specify the exact changes: List old vs. new data. Provide a bulleted list of the exact fields changing (e.g., "Change primary billing email from oldadmin@agency.co.nz to newadmin@agency.co.nz").
Send the email to propertyagents@trademe.co.nz
Note on Processing Times: Account updates involving security permissions or billing changes typically take 1 business day to be fully processed across the Trade Me Property network.
