Coffee Cart Open Home Giveaway - Terms and Conditions
Acceptance of these terms & conditions: The "Be in to Win a Coffee Cart at Your Next Open Home" giveaway (Giveaway) is run by Trade Me Limited (Trade Me). By entering into the Giveaway, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, you may not enter the Giveaway and you are not eligible to redeem the Prize. Trade Me reserves the right to vary, suspend or terminate these terms and conditions, the Giveaway or the Prize at any time, without notice to you.
1. Eligibility: Entry is only open to New Zealand licensed real estate agents who (i) are 18 years and over, and (ii) hold an active OneHub account with Trade Me Property. Directors and staff of Trade Me, its related bodies corporate and any agencies or companies associated with Trade Me or the Giveaway are not eligible to enter.
2. Giveaway period: The Giveaway opens at 12:00am on Wednesday 23 September 2026 (NZ time) and closes at 11:59pm on Friday 16 October 2026 (NZ time), or once 100 valid Entries have been received, whichever happens first (Closing Time).
3. How to enter: To enter the Giveaway, an eligible agent must log in to OneHub and view a Buyer Enquiry Insight during the Giveaway Period and before the Closing Time (an Entry). The first 100 valid Entries will automatically be entered into the draw. You may only enter the Giveaway once; if you make more than one Entry, only your first will count.
4. Prize: There will be one winner. The winner (Winner) will receive the hire of a mobile coffee cart service, staffed by a barista and serving hot drinks to open home visitors, for up to 1 hour at an open home of the Winner’s choice , up to the value of NZ$500 (incl. GST) (Prize).
Booking: The Winner must give Trade Me at least 5 working days notice of the date, time and address of the chosen open home, which must be held on or before 31 December 2026. [Trade Me will book the coffee cart with, and pay, the supplier directly.] If the prize is not redeemed (i.e. the coffee cart booked and used at an open home) by 31 December 2026, then it will lapse.
Availability and substitution: The Prize depends on a coffee cart supplier being available in the Winner's location. If no supplier is available (including in remote areas), Trade Me may substitute a prize of equal or greater value, such as a local café voucher.
Additional costs: Any costs over NZ$500 (incl. GST), including extended service time, extra drinks or travel surcharges, are the Winner's responsibility and must be paid directly to the supplier.
Permissions: The Winner is responsible for getting any consents needed for the coffee cart to operate at the property. This includes consent from the property's vendor and occupants.
General: The Prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
5. Winner notification and announcement: Trade Me will select the Winner at random from all eligible Entries on Monday 19 October 2026 and notify them within 2 business days by email or phone, using the contact details associated with their OneHub account. Trade Me reserves the right to select another winner if the initial Winner does not respond within 72 hours of notification. Trade Me's decision regarding the Winner is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
6. Publicity: The Winner agrees that their name, agency name and a description of their Prize (if applicable) may be published on Trade Me's social media, within email marketing or on Trade Me's websites. [Trade Me may also photograph the coffee cart at the open home and use those photos for the same purposes. The Winner is responsible for getting the consent of the property's vendor and occupants to those photos.]
7. Liability: The coffee cart service is provided by a third-party supplier. Trade Me is not responsible for the supplier's performance or cancellation, or for the quality. If the supplier cancels, Trade Me will make reasonable efforts to arrange a replacement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trade Me is not liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by any entrant or the Winner in connection with the Giveaway or with receiving or using the Prize. This includes direct, indirect, consequential, special, punitive or incidental loss. Trade Me's total liability for all claims is limited to the value of the Prize.
8. Other terms: The Trade Me terms and conditions (as amended from time to time) apply with all necessary modifications to the Giveaway and (if relevant) the use of any Prize. If they conflict with these terms and conditions, these terms and conditions prevail.
9. Privacy Act: Trade Me will collect and hold personal information, such as your name, email address and agency details, to run the Giveaway and to contact you if you win. If you win, Trade Me will share your name, contact details and open home address with the coffee cart supplier so it can provide the Prize. Personal information will be handled in line with Trade Me's Privacy Policy.
