This article covers how to apply a marketing package or product to a listing, and how to upgrade or downgrade one that's already live.
Applying a package or product
You can apply a package or product to a live listing yourself, through:
Your office CRM, or
Your Trade Me account directly
Prefer us to do it for you? Our support team can apply it on your behalf. You'll need to provide:
Your Trade Me listing ID — the 10-digit ID at the bottom of the listing page, usually starting with #
Which product you'd like applied
Upgrading or downgrading a live listing
Changing the package on a listing that's already live isn't self-service — you'll need to go through our support team. Provide your listing ID and what you'd like to upgrade or downgrade to.
Downgrading? Act fast. To downgrade, you have to let our team know within 24 hours of the listing going live.
Two important notes
To qualify for the 50% off renewal rate in Residential (Sale & New Homes), the original listing must have had a package on it.
Platinum Partners: if you downgrade a listing to a Silver package, you'll be charged at the Silver partner rate, not the Platinum partner rate.
Checking prices before you decide
Full pricing across all categories (Residential Sale & New Homes, Residential for rent, Commercial for sale): Property Pricing
Audience Boost — for boosting visibility on an existing listing rather than changing its package
